Dr. Chongdu Cho has been teaching as a professor of mechanical engineering at Inha University, Incheon, South Korea since 1992. He has won a fellow professorship at Inha University since 2008. Dr. Chongdu Cho received his Ph.D. in mechanical engineering and applied mechanics from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA. He received in mechanical engineering his Bachelor of Science at Seoul National University and a Master in Science at KAIST, South Korea. His major research area is the thermo-mechanical behavior of materials and composites and their fracture mechanics. He also has numerous publications on NEMS/MEMS in the field of Carbon nanotubes, micro switches and biosensors. He has published more than 160 SCI(e) peer reviewed international papers, 135 international conference proceedings and numerous domestic articles and papers.
