Dr. Jitendra Sharma is Professor of Operations Management and Program Chairperson (PGDM Programs) at Institute of Management Technology, Nagpur,  MS, INDIA.  Before joining this institute, he served M P Institute of Engineering and Technology, MS, INDIA as a Faculty in the Department of Production and Mechanical Engineering for more than twelve years.  Prof. Sharma currently teaches the core operations management course in the PGDM program.  He has been visiting faculty to institutes like IIM, Raipur; TAPMI, Manipal and IMT, Dubai as an Operation expert. Prof. Sharma has an experience of more than 22 years in academic and industrial field. Prof. Sharma’s research focuses on how firms can most effectively design and develop products and services incorporating the voice of customer. Currently supervising two Ph.D. Scholars in the field of ‘Quality Education in B-School’ and ‘Blended Learning’.

 

Prof. Sharma’s research involves intensive collaboration with leading companies including leading electronic appliances manufacturing giants and has been published in scholarly technical and case journals including International Journal of Productivity and Quality Management, Quality Management Journal – ASQ, the IEE’s Manufacturing Engineer and Ivey Publishing House.

 

He has more than 50 research papers published in various national and international conferences, technical magazines and journals.  He also happens to be on the review panel of many International and National Journals including Elsevier’s European Journal of Operation Research.
